I stopped using UPS long ago (see my blog), but my wife sent a package to family in Uruguay. One of their affiliates said it would cost no more than $200 customs in Uruguay. Actually it was over $700. I emailed them twice through their support form and was promised a 24 hr. reply but never received one.
