Very suprising to find banded wrens in the Panama jungle.
Amazingly, I received this email in April, 2011, about two years after I took the photo... I was thrilled to come across your photos showing a banded buff-breasted wren and the same banded individual with an unbanded bird. I'm the person who banded this bird in 1998 in Gamboa - this is a male who was a fledgling when I banded him and he has gone on to live a long life for a small songbird. Thanks for posting the image and I would love your permission to use the photos in the future.
