Another shot of this extremely rare and Critically Endangered species (this one perched on top of the Lodge, early morning), and a testament to the success of their captive breeding programme and reintroduction to Chaparrà Private Conservation Area. You wouldn't know there were only about 250 of them left looking at their numbers at Chaparrà - they are quite ubiquitous and will readily take your lunch off the table if you're not watching!
